Kam Dhatt explores the relationship between natural light and humans to unveil the real essence of what is Human-Centric lighting and the importance of understanding your inbuilt biorhythmic clock. With a belief that Human-Centric lighting begins in the home, you will be given an insightful look how your environment can be set up to help induce the best possible Sleep and Wake cycle for optimum performance and well-being, be it for work or home.

HUMAN-CENTRIC LIGHTING DESIGN THROUGH VR

There can be no Human-centric space without Human-Centric lighting. Through the wonder of VR and physically accurate simulation, you’ll be given a demonstration of the innovative ways in which lighting design and technologies come together to create spaces for humans. Experience the effect of controls and the right application of light at the right time of day to help occupants keep in sync with their natural biorhythmic clocks.

Through this experience, onlight will be presenting lighting design capabilities and philosophies which create spaces that enable inhabitants to live and work with their wellbeing in mind.

Thanks to Gardiner Design, you can experience a virtual office space showcasing the best in furniture layout and lighting design by onlight, where you’ll be guided through the principles of Human-Centric workspaces. There will also be the chance to experience a living space with lighting & controls applied to synchronize with the natural expectation of sunrise and sunset, allowing for an optimum wake and sleep inducement.
